The next edition of Let's Play Literature, after Gogol, is dedicated to Ovid. The series Let's Play Literature experiments on classical literature with theatrical methods. Ovid's Metamorphoses is one of the most important works in the history of world literature. On the ability of matter to transform itself, to change from one thing to something else entirely, is based our thinking of the miraculous, of the fantastic, of the possibility of the impossible. What is metamorphosis, how does the miraculous transformation of one form into another occur? What is preserved and what is lost in the metamorphosis? After the metamorphosis, is the form the same but changed or is it completely new?
